Today Rose and I went to Ashton-U-Lyne. This is a town were we lived and went to school. Last time I was in England Rose and I went to meet Pam an old friend we were at school with, we had not seen her for 40 plus years. We went to meet Pam again and have lunch with her. We went to the Ash Tree Pub which is part of the Wetherspoon chain of pubs. We had a good lunch and a nice time with Pam.
We headed back towards Rochdale stopping at the Range store, I was looking for Frys Chocolate Cream bars to take back for my Mom, they didn't have any. It was a very cold foggy day. It was good to get back to Roses and get warm inside.
